december is a time for me!

A little update for everybody on a fabulous vintage fair coming your way in Leeds this december, THE AFFORDABLE VINTAGE FASHION FAIR lands on 6th Dec at Leeds University's
Riley Smith Hall. This is the place to find your recycled vintage fashion, from embellished knitwear to leather satchels - there are some excellent stalls here and nobody tries to rip you off! I love a bargain me!

This is an old flyer but just wanted to post it so you can appreciate the awesome design!

Saturday

something for the weekend...

I am going further north to glasgow for a few days but wanted to leave you with a little gem, KIEL MEAD is a fantastic jewelley/furniture designer. He makes absolutely brilliant pieces that have style and a sense of hmour, from forget me knots to matchsticks, his gold and silver pieces have a lovely edge to them. I will be saving my pennies! Have a lovely weekend in the north!

Thursday

clown confession....

I have harboured a fascination with clowns since I was a little girl, being a tomboy I didn't have many pink teddys and any of those porcelain clowns that many other girls had. I found them odd and a little creepy and they seemed to be a major thing back then, but lately I have been very inspired by clowns. I love huge clown collars, diamond prints and of course - oversized buttons and pom poms. So here is some inspiration to lighten your day, featuring fifi lapin (http://fifi-lapin.blogspot.com/) and some sexy runway clown action...roll pics...
