two kisses...

Firstly, great news ADAM CURTIS's documentary 'It felt like a kiss' which recently showed as an interactive installation in Manchester is now available to watch online here:

But be quick! It's for a limited time before it tours. It tells the story of our descent into consumerism to keep us from holding the elite to account for their actions. I'm surprised Adam Curtis hasn't started the revolution yet, I'd follow him.

And secondly FLORENCE & THE MACHINE'S album 'Lungs' is now available and definitely worth a few bob, hints of kate bush, regina spektor and all your dreams and drug experiences...it's wonderful. The songs will take you far away from the rain, rain, rain that is this summer 2009.

Sunday

what's cook(ing)

Nice to see topshop doing another collaboration with Emma Cook and not some idiot like ms moss. Check out her new collection which is live on the website. The prints are charming cameos with swans, giraffes and bambi heads and the subtle grey pallette she uses will suit nearly every girl and fit right into your autumn/winter 09 wardrobe.

Tuesday

the reet tee

The right summer tee is the perfect purchase, it will look nice with jeans for casual days and is fun enough to dress up with a pretty skirt for nights spent drinking and gossiping. I hereby bestow upon you all my faves...

1) sebastien tellier tee by AMERICAN APPAREL
2) topcat by MODERNLOVERS on etsy
3) wolf in space tee by SOMETHING ELSE on asos
3) cropped peach tee by TOPSHOP

Wednesday

to tan or not to tan?

I am pale and freckly creature, I don't tan, I mainly go a poor shade of pink and flap about in the heat and whine. For years I have struggled with the whole 'should I be natural this summer or hit the tan bottle?' conundrum. I have suffered laughter when it went streaky, have ruined countless nice undies and also wasted hours trying to get that bronzed look with gradual tanners (they do nothing I swear!). This year I am going au naturel. So ladies, here are a few pics to inspire you to stay natural this summer, reetsweet presents the best and worst...you know who looks better so stay as you are little ladies and try to ignore the pressure to be an orange bird...
